Suggesting research

Anyone can suggest a research topic or idea for the SDO programme to consider.

If you would like to make a suggestion please contact us or use the research suggestions form below.

The SDO programme also identifies research topics in a number of other ways including direct consultation, scoping exercises and re-consideration of important topics.

What happens next?

Deciding which of the many research suggestions it receives should be given priority is one of the most important tasks facing the SDO programme. It is essential to the success of the programme that research priorities are chosen in a clear and fair way, embracing the latest expertise, knowledge and opinion. Every one of the suggestions received by the SDO programme is considered and the programme is supported in this work by three advisory panels.
