The Priority Areas Panel

The Priority Areas Panel will help meet the challenge of commissioning high quality research relevant to NHS needs. The Priority Areas Panel considers the need for research in a number of broad thematic areas, identified through the programme's research needs assessment and prioritisation processes. The Priority Areas Panel's remit includes assisting with the development of commissioning briefs, as well as assessing areas of importance and need to the NHS within the SDO remit.
