October 2006 - Vulnerable groups and access to health care
A research summary based on research undertaken by Dixon-Woods et al (2006). The study looked at why vulnerable groups may face greater difficulties in accessing health care, and to help inform solutions to those problems so that access becomes fairer and more uniform across the NHS.

September 2006 - An assessment of the clinical effectiveness, cost and viability of NHS General Practitioners with Special Interest (GPSI) services
A research summary presenting the main findings of two separate studies of GPSI services by Salisbury et al (2005) and Rosen et al (2005). The research aimed to assess the cost-effectiveness of GPSI services and their impact on hospital referral rates and waiting times for appointments.

A research summary outlining the findings of a literature review by Alborz et al (2003). The research highlights the practical aspects to be addressed if people with learning disabilities are to be able to access health services, and makes recommendations for action and further research.
